Juniors RYA training courses and special events April - October 2022
Price: Junior Group session prices for 2023 are £17.00 per junior per session.
Booking: Please book through your membership portal once you are a fully paid Junior group member. If not yet a member of Juniors, this can be added via your portal.
Timing: All Junior sessions are full days from 9.30am - 4pm (weather dependant).
Children need to be dressed and ready to go for the start of any session and are expected to stick around for the de-brief and to de-rig and pack away boats and equipment before leaving.
Payment: Once you have selected the items in Sailing Club membership portal, please ensure you pay straight away. You will receive an email to confirm that you have paid. Until you have paid, we cannot guarantee your child's place.
Refunds: A refund will only be issued if the Junior group is notified by email [email protected] a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of a session. If your child is unable to attend a session for any reason, please notify the Junior group via email prior to the start of the session.
Food etc: Your child will need a packed lunch, snacks, drinks, suncream and appropriate clothing for every session.
Clothing: Your child will need appropriate clothing for every session.
Summer months: the lake water can be chilly even in the summer months, so a short or long wetsuit, wetsuit boots, life jacket, spray jacket and helmet are required.
Spring and late summer: a full wetsuit, spray jacket, wetsuit boots, life jacket and helmet are required. Gloves are advisable.
Logbooks: These are available to purchase on the 'shop' section of your membership portal (and can be collected from the Junior's team at sessions).
Please Note: Parents/guardians must remain on site whilst their children participate in Junior activities.
